Hawaii Payments University

Nov. 5-7, 2019

PacPay, Federal Reserve Bank and PAR/WACHA have held a Payments University for the last three years with attendees from the neighboring islands and Oahu. Speakers have brought their expertise from HI, MN, WI, GA, TN and NC.

Payments University is an intense, collegiate-style learning environment structured to provide holistic, concentrated payments education. Whether you are new to the payments industry or desire a higher-understanding of payments, the multi-track agenda provides targeted education through fundamental and advanced courses. General Sessions are attended by all participants, then everyone can choose which sessions to attend based on desired topics.

Here is what the 2018 Payments University attendees had to say:

  • Very, very informative!
  • The enthusiasm and wealth of knowledge by the presenters!
  • Love the fact that topics included current and future subjects of interests.

Who Should Attend: Suitable for ACH Operations, AAP Candidates and those needing AAP credits

Payments Professionals Certifications

Gain a competitive advantage and impress your examiners by having accredited payment professionals on staff. PAR/WACHA's in-depth preparation programs are recognized among the best in the country!

Here is a list of your colleagues who are certified AAPs and NCPs. Certifications set payments professionals apart for their expertise. Read more on how you can become an AAP, NCP or APRP below.

AAP

Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) Certification

AAPs are an elite group of highly-skilled professionals who are recognized for their electronic payments expertise and who have a strong competitive edge in functioning as effective partners in the business and financial arenas. The AAP accreditation is recognized as the gold standard in ACH excellence.

AAPs bring a wide range of experience and a critical knowledge base that is a valuable asset to any organization and Regulators seek out AAP’s during exams. Click Here to Learn More

NCP

National Check Professional (NCP) Certification

This designation recognizes professionals who have successfully proven a certain level of understanding of the current check payments landscape. Click Here to Learn More

 APRP

Accredited Payments Risk Professional (APRP) Certification

NACHA has announced a NEW advanced certification program called the Accredited Payments Risk Professional (APRP) Certification. The certification esteems itself to identify those individuals who are competent in risk across payment channels at an enterprise level. In 2018, its pilot year, participation will be limited to 225 participants.

Becoming an APRP will help you to advance both your financial institution as well as your career. Having an APRP employee shows examiners that your Financial Institution is committed to risk management and regulatory compliance. As an APRP, you can rest assured that you will rise above the rest by exemplifying that you are committed to your payments-related profession and helping your employer remediate risk.
