Fraud Morning

Complimentary Virtual Event

8:30 - 10:35 am Hawaii Time

Join us for hot topics in fraud in these complimentary sessions. You will hear from experienced speakers on how to detect and assist your account holders in dealing with fraud issues.

Protect yourself, your financial institution, and your account holders from payments fraud!  It’s an unfortunate reality that fraud is a constant threat in every area of payments.  These virtual morning sessions preceding Hawaii Payments University will provide insights from industry experts on fraud.  We’ll cover ways in which to prevent, identify, and handle different types of scams, saving your organization and account holders from avoidable losses!

In a deep dive discussion, we’ll cover in detail how the payment networks were used to perpetrate fraud with pandemic-related funds in the Payroll Protection Program and unemployment insurance.  This session will include an overview of the government programs involved, the controls that were in place, how and by whom they were compromised, and what you can do to detect future threats and mitigate risk.*

See Something, Say Something to Insider Fraud.

Insider fraud has been around as long as businesses have had employees, and when the financial industry goes through a crisis, the number of Insider Fraud arrests increases.  You'll be protecting your organization if you see something, say something.
