These virtual morning sessions preceding Hawaii Payments University will provide insights from industry experts on fraud. In a deep dive discussion, we’ll cover in detail how the payment networks were used to perpetrate fraud with pandemic-related funds in the Payroll Protection Program and unemployment insurance. This session will include an overview of the government programs involved, the controls that were in place, how and by whom they were compromised, and what you can do to detect future threats and mitigate risk.*
